We are having our Easter dinner here, and on our dessert right now. Everything as always is delicious! Place is busy, but comfortable. Clean & cozy. Looks like everyone is really enjoying themselves! Our waitress today was Jessica, and she was amazing! Friendly, upbeat, & very personable. Food was amazing as always! We had arrived about 30 minutes early, so we first sat at the bar. Sue & Rhonda the bartenders are really funny together. They had us laughing most of the time till our table was ready. Our reservation was for 1pm and we were sat at 12:55. Like I've said before, "We'll be back again soon!"

Great steaks, great service, 2 for 1 beer, nice salad bar. The Certified Black Angus makes a difference. Love coming to this place!

My husband and I were looking for a nice restaurant to eat at when a friend recommended nikos. We decided to try it and I got the prime rib and he got fish the food was wonderful! I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Nice salad bar. Also 2 for 1 drinks all the time. This place is busy about 4 till 5. Food has a large verity from seafood to pasta. Would defiantly go back and try again.

We come here almost every holiday as a family. The onion crusted salmon is delicious! The prices are fantastic and service is great. You can make reservations which is not many places around here allow. Highly recommend, great for families and priced well for portions and quality

I have been going to Nikos for years now, they have one of the best salad bars ever! The decor is very outdated, the wait staff is not very friendly and numerous vists I have had to ask for refills or extra napkins. The prime rib is great if you get their ealry enough and get it served at the rite temperature. I wish they would clean the restaurant its very dark and dingy in there.

My grandpa always says this is one of his favorite restaurants and has been wanting me to try it with him for quite some time, so we went for an early dinner this past Saturday around 3 PM. When we arrived there were a few other tables of people and I noticed right away most of them had puffy white hair and exceeded me in age by about 50 years. Oh well, not sure if that's just due to the time that we went or if that's the general clientele that comes here. We were seated and our server came to greet us right away and offered 2 for 1 drink specials, which they apparently have all day and night. The 2 stars for this review were earned by the friendliness of our server and the fact that they have a full bar and offer happy hour all the time. After that, it sort of goes down hill. We started off with the salad bar, which was included in the meal. The soup offerings that were on the salad bar for the day included greek chicken orzo or navy bean. The salad options itself were okay, but the lettuce was all iceberg, meh. Just okay overall. For my meal I ordered the half slab of ribs with mashed potatoes and gravy. The ribs weren't the best quality, very fatty. The mashed potatoes and gravy were so boring and bland. My grandpa ordered the liver and onions, which he thinks is delicious, but I had never tried it before. So I just tried a small bite of his and I didn't care for it personally, one bite was more than enough. Overall I give it 2 stars for the good service, free salad bar and full liquor bar, but the food was just too underwhelming to deserve more stars unfortunately.

We have been here many times and the prime rib is by far the best I have had anywhere! The steaks as well and there always cooked as asked. The service is always good so I will keep going for a good experience. It's a must if you have never been.

The food we had was good. My wife had the prime rib sandwich it was huge and lots of toppings. I had the 10oz. chopped sirloin steak. This place will turn into one of our weekly nights out.

Attitude is everything!! And that goes for the owner too!!! I had a great pork chop meal. Salad bar was good not great!! I had leftover salad and asked for a box to take it home. My waiter said I'll make an exception but the owner gets irate and doesn't allow taking salad home!! He yelled at my waiter! I watched and asked if he got yelled at and he did!! They should have a sign up if that's the case!! Great food here, but you better know the rules!! They don't tell you in advance!! You have to find out when the owner has a hissy fit!! I won't be back, Kally K's is closer and better and you take home whatever you want!!!

The food was very good and so was the service and the price. I had the bourbon steak and it had great flavor. The salad bar had a good variety, only wish they had some ham bits to add to the salad. Thee clam chowder was also excellent but could have used more clams in it. Will definitely go back again.

Niko's reminds me of an old Vegas style restaurant. They pride themselves with their 2 for 1 HAPPY HOUR drink specials. When my partner and I ordered we decided to go ahead and get 2 drinks. When the waitress came out she had 4. I bought one got one and he bought one got one. That did not set real well with me. First, maybe explain to the customer your gimmick. Second, at least give me the option to get my free one later so it's not room temperature when I go to drink it. I ordered the fried fish. It came with a free salad buffet. When I went to get my salad dressing there were huge nasty lumps in it similar to curdled milk. Had the fish not been so good I would have given them 2 stars. But that fish was the best I have had in a while. A little work and I could be a fan.

Excellent service, friendly staff, good value on the prices & the food was great! 2 for 1 cocktails are an excellent value. I would go again! I had the patty melt & it was delish and cooked to order! Potato skins appetizers were stuffed full and tasted great. 2 for 1 margarita cocktails were worth every penny and then some. Wait staff was courteous and helpful. I highly recommend this place for the good value, nice staff and delicious food, Was clean and smelled nice. Enjoy yourself!

Neko's is great for what it says on the sign: Delicious and cheap prime rib, with a nice salad bar. The customers are mostly older folks looking for a deal, but that shouldn't scare you away. I've been to Neko's three times and each time the prime rib was tasty, well seasoned and drenched in amazing au jus sauce. The salad bar offers fresh traditional fair with what my mother says is the "best rice pudding in town." Atmosphere is Greek style on a budget, not the reason to come. Service is similarly of the Denny's variety rather than Outback Steakhouse. You're not coming here for a romantic night on the town though, or an anniversary. You're going to Neko's for great prime rib at a discount and that's what you'll get.

I've been living close to Niko's for about three years. Driving by, it's never seemed particularity inviting, mostly a reflection of its less than contemporary exterior treatment. My friends and I have been joking amongst ourselves for quite a while, "Hey, we should try Niko's!" Well, last night we finally did. If you're in the least bit familiar with this strip of US 19 through Holiday, New Port Richey, Port Richey and Hudson, you'll know it's populated with chain restaurants, pawn shops and strip clubs. Independent restaurants serving quality food are severely lacking in this area. To echo the sentiments of other reviewers yes, the decor is dated to say the least, the clientele is geriatric (many in wheelchairs or dependent upon walkers) and the salad bar is tantamount to what I'd expect at Denny's. But when it came to the prime rib, we were VERY impressed. We were also impressed with the service. Okay, our server forgot to bring utensils and napkins to the table, but he was genuinely friendly and helpful. Surprisingly so. If you can deal with feeling like you're eating in a dated nursing-home dining hall, you'll be happy with your experience at Niko's. They really DO serve good food. And yes, I was not expecting to be brought both beers at the same time during their two-for-one special.

Reminded me of a Vegas all-you-can eat buffet...their famous prime rib was a good cut of beef until they cooked it! It wasn't slow-roasted with garlic and rosemary and have that nice crust that you would expect at other good prime-rib places...I don't know how else to describe it but it was more like boiled and bland and very fatty! So I wouldn't take too much stock in what the old folks think here...sorry but it's a known fact you lose your taste buds at that certain age and I'm not there yet. The vegetable medley was frozen and horrid tasting and the other famous Rice pudding was bland and very watery...stick with Kozy Shack at Publix! The salad bar was ok...but again...nothing to drive out of your way for. The only thing we liked was the service from the male waiter (Brian)...although the hostess at the door wasn't very friendly. No matter...we won't be back.

Over the last 10 year's we have visited Niko's Place many times and have used their Banquet room once. I don't do Prime Rib any were, I can say that we have tried many of the items on their menu and have never had a disappointing meal. The Place is very dated and it's customers tend to be the older crowd. The older crowd doesn't seem to be as loud as some of the younger crowds. We were able to sit and talk in a normal voice over some very good meals. The Salad Bar is always very fresh and fully stoked with a wide variety of fresh fruit, veggies, dressings and puddings and Jello. The young man in charge of the Salad Bar works endlessly to keep it fresh and clean. We have had so many things from the menu over the years that I can't say there is any one thing I order most, but the Salad Bar is always very good. If there is a negative, I guess it would have to be the very dated decor.

Niko's is a step back in time to the 60's complete with a large salad bar! Food and service are good - just don't go expecting cutting edge cuisine. Ribs were very good and the prime rib was good for the price. Even the wine was old school with those small glasses and a little carafe. Good, fast service with the owner right in the dining room.

No, it's not a five star place. But, it's definitely 4 stars, with everything older people would like. Do you remember the once famous Steak & Ale chain. Well, that's what this is. Not a sports bar with TV's everywhere, no screaming loud "rap crap" (current popular chanting noise), no screaming/hollering clientele. Just great food, at very reasonable prices, in a supper club setting - I repeat "Steak & Ale"). Great 50's music, friendly wait staff, fantastic "fresh" salad bar, fast service, cheap drinks, coupons and specials everywhere, what more could retirees want. Yes, that's why the customers are mostly aged. I fit right in :-)

Please, don't order any of the seafood items off the menu. Over oiled and doused with so much garlic salt, I couldn't taste the shrimp which were over cooked and wooden, I wont be going back there anytime soon.

The food here is ok, nothing to write home about. They have a pretty good salad bar. the clientele is, well, older. I think the biggest draw to Niko's is the 2 for 1 drink specials, all the time.

We've lived in this area for about 10 yrs., and always say we'll stop at Niko's but never get around to it. So we finally stop for lunch. Perhaps it's recently been updated, but I thought the restaurant looked WAY nicer than I expected...the outside looks a little worn. So lunch meal was great, server was great, very friendly gave us a copy of the specials to take home. So this is good, we must try them for dinner. Weeks later we stop and order dinner. Different server. Nice but very nervous server. Our meals arrived, mine on the table and his on his shirt! So after apologies the server goes to get another meal. We asked him to take mine back so they'd both come out at the same time, which he did. Meals come out again, food was fine, salad bar is adequate and kept very clean, drinks were 2 for 1. I felt the server should've taken the spilled meal off the tab or paid for the drinks, but he did neither. We felt bad for him because he was so nervous so we didn't complain. Next time I don't think we will be so kind as the shirt was stained from the oil. Lesson learned. We've been back since. As other reviewers indicated this is an old school crowd - a lot of regulars, esp. at the bar.
